Well you are not the only one, on BTTH super chat on weibo there are a lot of people upset and raging at the studio. Some have gone as far as threatening to burn their studio down with the Fallen Heart Flame, some demanding an explanation from the studio and some have threatened legal action for falsely presenting teasers and trailers that didnt show up in this episode.

Reason why? I can only guess it has to do with censors. But why teasers and trailers were allowed yet not the episode? I dont know, maybe last minute changes were required if they were to air this episode

Maybe studio tried to soften it without the rape scene, and turned it into an aphrodisiac scene like Fanren episode 15 and the scene was too steamy and not enough clothes, maybe one of the Official censor's wife told him that no sex tonight and so he is taking it out on the studio, whatever the reason, it happened, just off-screen or maybe it will be in next week's episode, so keep your fingers and toes crossed lol

No I get their anger, I can understand and emphasis with them, venting is fine however making threats to the studio is not on, they have no control over censorship and it might have been tencent that made the decision

It might have been a last day change, teasers from last week and even a few days ago indicate the scene will be in, but censors might have got in the way of things

Mc will appear at the last second(just like in every other chinese novel) save his daughter. and Medusa will hug him) and thats it for the whole novel.

Chapter 157 of the manga, and it's still very tame:

- 156 ends with the platform protecting him, combining the medicinal ingredients from his space ring.
- 157 starts with Xiao Yan noticing his breakthrough and Medusa's spirit fusion
- Medusa groans and complains something in her stomach is hurting
- Xiao Yan protects Medusa and breaks free from the Fallen Heart Flame (different from how he absorbed it here)

You can check Chapter 619 in the novel, but it only hints at a little more of what was censored. Still, nothing graphic was there except for their "interaction" before the "deed" was done. This is likely what they censored since it implies it was against Medusa's will.

As it was written in the novel:
"An intimate act was being quietly performed within the blood-colored magma. Unfortunately, no one had the luck to witness it..."

Well I knew with the censors in China that the carnal lust scene would be removed. They made it look like Medusa was back to full strength and as confident as ever but that NEVER happened in the novel. Yes she took over the body completely but because of the fight with the little snakes soul and the fire her merger was not ideal and when she finally took the body she was in a weakened condition. She could not do anything to him at all and in fact in the novel she never even tried that is partially the reason what happened did. She could fight the evil yin energy to a point but not completely and was aware of what was happening but could not control her body. Neither of them could. I still hate that the little snake had to die but no worries considering what will eventually be revealed .

binge watching after 6 weeks is much better than waiting for a 15 mins episode every week. its completely worth the wait.

Why did they cut the scene?.
